Some Clinical Experiences of Altima.n (Dihydroxyaluminium allantoinate) in The treatment of Peptic Ulcer, Hypertrophic Gastritis, Hemorrhagic Erosive Gastritis and. Cascade Stomach

Abstract
|
|
|
Altima® (Dihydroxyaluminium allantoinate) was given orally 800mg per day for treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer, hypertrophic gastritis, hemorrhagic erosive gastritis and Cascade stomach.
Results of the Altima® treatments on 23 cases of above illness are summarized.
1. Clinical observations demonstrated that Altima is potently effectiveness in subj￢ective symptoms. Subjective symptom in one case of Cascade stomach was fairly
relived after this medication for seven days.
2. Three cases of giant benign gastric ulcer which is larger than 3.0cm in diame￢ter of Niche, showed late responses to Altima treatment.
3. Two patient complained of mild constipation after the medication, otherwise no
serious side effect was encountered.
